It’s a problem that a lot of bloggers have… finding images to use on your blog that won’t break the bank. If you’ve been searching for the perfect resource for free pictures to use on your blog without any luck, then today’s video and post is for you. I’m going to share my secret for finding amazing pictures that are free to use.
Finding free pictures to use

To search for images
- Open search.creativecommons.org
- Check the boxes for commercial use and modification
- Type your search terms into the query box
- Click on Flickr to search images on Flicker
Once you have found an image you like and want to use, click on the download icon at the bottom right of the image on the image page (looks like a down arrow). A menu with optional images sizes will appear. Click on the image size you want and the download will automatically begin. To find the artist’s name scroll to just below the image and the artist will be listed on the left side next to the artist’s profile picture. The license information can be obtained by clicking on the link to the left that says “Some rights reserved.”
